Why IELTS Over PTE?
First, the biggest difference between these two tests is that in IELTS, a student has an option to either opt for computer-based or paper-based tests, whereas PTE has just the option of computer-based testing.
Another major difference is in the speaking section- in IELTS a student speaks his answers to the questions in front of an interviewer, whereas, in PTE’s speaking test, a student speaks his answers in the microphone on the computer.
Writing and speaking sections in IELTS are scored by human graders, and PTE is automatic machine scored.
